OUR HISTORY
Sigma Staffing was founded in 1983 by Thea Linker and Herb Ehrlich as Sigma Search, with a mission to bring a new philosophy and different approach to the personnel industry - to make it more human and add credibility. In 1987 a temporary division, Sigma Temps, was added, and in 1994 the two divisions were combined to create Sigma Staffing.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Sigma Staffing, our philosophy is based on caring about people: our applicants and temporary employees, our clients, our counselors and our community. We are focused on building long-term relationships, not just with filling jobs. The success of Sigma rests on people skills such as communication, creativity and empathy. Through experience we've learned to take on the challenge by remaining flexible, staying innovative, and being able to anticipate the needs of our clients.
PLACEMENT POLICIES
We are just as concerned that a job is right for the applicant, as we are that the applicant is right for the company. It is Sigma's policy not to talk to anyone into taking a job they don't feel is right for them. We go out of our way to find the win-win situation. This keeps the job turnover rate to a minimum.
